“I recently worked with Rowan on a print copywriting project. She was great to work with – thorough and full of ideas. Everything was finished to a very high standard.”

Go for the win, not the bin

Printed copyBrochures? Leaflets? Flyers? (Snigger.) In the age of social media, isn’t printed copy, like, a prehistoric concept?

You’d be surprised. Research has shown that the majority of customers find printed copy more credible than online content. There’s something tangible about holding a printed sheet in your hand; that’s why the Kindle has failed to replace the book. It’s also widely acknowledged that more printed sales copy than email sales copy actually gets read. I’ve often deleted 100 emails before my morning coffee goes cold. Throwing away a chunky, glossy, attractive catalogue is a much bigger decision.

Print copywriting requires a different skillset than online copywriting. It sticks around longer and we give it more of our attention, so word counts can be more generous. It’s sometimes put up on noticeboards or lies around in shared spaces – so one piece of copy may end up being viewed by many different audiences.

Your business may need several different type of printed copy. These might include:

• Brochures and catalogues
• Flyers
• Newsletters
• Posters
• Leaflets
• Banners
• Direct mail
• Presentation packs

Whatever your copy needs, together we can capture a little piece of printed perfection.
